11 MONTHS!
Our May was spent swimming and playing and traveling all over the country... and Carter spent one more month wrapping his mom just a little bit tighter around that little finger of his. Could he be any cuter!? We finally have this napping thing down, and aside from the occasional nightmare that is calmed with a quick pat on the back (and no removal from the crib!), we have a consistent 10-11 hour/night sleeper. So now when his mom and dad stay up too late watching old West Wing episodes and struggle to drag themselves out of bed at 6:22 am (that's his preferred wake up call for some reason?), they can 't blame the baby anymore! We introduced Carter to the pool for Memorial Day, and he LOVED it and fell asleep in his raft- not the worst way to spend a lazy sunny day!
He is super speedy at crawling, climbing and pulling up... and this week he started walking behind his toys! Our baby is quickly approaching toddlerhood, and as we have said at every single stage of his life, I can't imagine him getting more fun than he is now-but I have no doubt that he will :)
So off we go into Carter's final month of his first year... love, love, love this baby boy!
